our mission.

meaningful making happens in many situations and dynamics.

sometimes it’s in therapy, and the work might need to stay private and confidential, in order to serve its purpose and so the maker of it feels safe.

there are also many meaningful pieces of work made in groups, situations and spaces where there is a desire to share more widely.

but where?

the curiosity tree is on a mission to create a sharing space for meaningful making that is inspiring and inclusive, curious and accepting, supporting emotional wellness through visual art making.

Art helps us access and express parts of ourselves that are often unavailable to other forms of human interaction.
—  Grayson Perry, Artist
Artistic self expression gives participants an identity beyond illness. I have seen the arts build confidence and community and provide hope in the midst of suffering.
