FAQ

who uses the tree of curiosity?

people and organisations use the site to share creativity, as well as having interactive sharing trees in ‘real life’ spaces such as council buildings, community cafes, arts venues and more. Supporting an exchange of support and information through creativity, get in touch if you’d like to install a sharing tree where you are!

is my art available for viewing by general public if I submit some for the gallery?

at the moment there is one children and young person gallery, and one practitioner gallery, which are both available to anyone visiting the site. we have password access only pages though for groups we are working with so they can safely share thoughts and ideas with us and each other in a private designated space.

I am really interested in art therapy sessions - how can I access these?

Art Therapy is a type of psychotherapy - in the UK anyone using the title Art Therapist or Art Psychotherapist must be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and with The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). for children and young people, Art Therapists usually work in teams and organisations that you can get referred to - you could ask your GP, school nurse, about this, and you have a social worker you could ask them too.

there is a search place here that you also could check out.

who funds your work?

Our work is funded by organisations who value what we can provide for the people they work with and support: currently we’re working with Surrey Virtual School at Surrey County Council.
