sharing your work safely

you’re here because you think it might help you, and maybe others, to share your art or craft work - fantastic!

our aim is for you to feel safe, happy and excited about doing this.

we take your privacy very seriously, and it’s the law that we need to keep any personal information you share, like your email address, confidential.

this means that no one else can see or find that information, and we don’t share it with anyone else.

an email address is required to send a picture file, but once we’ve let you know your art image has come through, we will delete your email address from our records. we will keep your consent form in a file on our computer which has its own password.

if you have added some information about your image (amazing - thank you!) we will ensure that it is safe to share, and we may only use the first letter of your name. in all cases, we use first names only next to pieces of work.

we have a form for you to fill in, and especially if you are a child or younger teenager, this needs to be signed by you, plus your parent or carer. if for any reason you feel this is not possible, we recommend talking it through with the adult you’ve been working with - your teacher, ELSA, social worker, youth worker etc. who may be able to sign instead.
